Responsibilities:

Lead Product Engineering: Direct and manage product engineering teams to develop cutting-edge enterprise software solutions.

Talent Acquisition & Development: Strategically recruit, retain, and nurture full-stack engineering talent to build and expand product engineering teams.

Technical Leadership: Offer high-level technical guidance, ensuring the integrity and quality of products through architecture supervision and selective code reviews.

Agile Practices: Employ agile software engineering methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery in partnership with product managers.

Team Development & Culture: Cultivate a high-performing team environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.

Intellectual Property: Inspire and guide the team in generating and safeguarding intellectual property including patents, disclosures, and defensive publications.

Performance Metrics: Develop and manage metrics to assess and enhance quality, delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 12 years in application software development, with at least 6 years in an engineering management role.

Agile Expertise: Over 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with certification preferred; SAFe experience is advantageous.

Enterprise Software Development: Comprehensive experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

DevSecOps Practices: Proven ability in implementing continuous integration, delivery, and security operations.

Cloud Technologies: Expertise in developing cloud-native and lift-and-shift applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with RESTful microservices.

Full-Stack Technologies: Proficient in full-stack technologies, including React JS, NodeJS, mobile applications (iOS, Android, Flutter), middleware, message buses, and relational databases.

Architectural Expertise: Hands-on experience with architectural styles such as Microservices, Event Driven, SOA, and Lambda.

Database Management: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a preference for Oracle or Postgres.

Multi-Cloud Architecture: Experience with multi-cloud solutions is a significant advantage.

Modern Application Architecture: Competence in engineering applications with modern technologies (e.g., microservices, APIs) for reliable, high-impact cloud deployments.

Integration Skills: Knowledge of integration best practices, patterns, data repositories, and infrastructure.

Languages: Excellent proficiency in English; communicative skills in German or Romanian are a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
